Who each one is for
QR TIGER started on the web and stayed there; the mobile app is a companion. It is used by enterprises in many countries and its strength is plumbing: pushing scan data into analytics and CRM tools, routing scans by country or time, and managing many codes across a team.
QR Studio started on the iPhone. Its strength is that everything, including design and print export, happens on the device in your hand, with an AI partner that no QR product on any platform offers.
Where QR Studio is better
- AI design partner. Describe a style, get variants, refine in conversation, and every variant is checked for scannability. QR TIGER has no AI features.
- Print-ready PDF and SVG from a phone. With bleed and crop marks, ready for a print shop.
- Offline. Create, design and export with no connection. QR TIGER needs the internet.
- Pricing. A lifetime purchase exists. Unlimited static codes are free with no cap.
- Privacy posture. No ads, opt-in crash reporting, no third-party trackers in the app.
Where QR TIGER is better
Listed at the top of this page, and worth repeating: integrations, conditional redirects, password-protected codes, white-label and enterprise support. If any of those is a requirement, QR TIGER is the right choice today.
Pricing side by side
QR TIGER’s plans scale with the number of dynamic codes and scans and are billed monthly or annually. QR Studio’s Pro tier is a flat price with no scan limits, and Lifetime is a one-off payment. For a single business with a handful of dynamic codes the difference over three years is large; for a marketing team that needs integrations, QR TIGER’s higher tiers buy things QR Studio does not sell.
Note
Prices change. The verification date at the top of this page says when we last checked the listing; the link goes to their current pricing page.
Switching
Static codes need nothing: make them again. Dynamic codes must be reprinted because the redirect domain changes. Do it before the old subscription ends, and keep the old plan alive for a month of overlap.
