Who each one is for
QR Scanner & Generator Pro is a small generator and scanner from HHH Technologies LLC. Its listing promises codes for websites, contacts, locations and Wi-Fi, “stylish designs and colors”, logo placement, sharing by email or social media, and barcode product search. It has 65 ratings at 4.4 stars, requires iOS 14 or later, and its current build dates from November 2023. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac (Apple silicon, macOS 11) and Apple Vision.
That last point is the reason to consider it: if you want a QR generator on a Vision Pro today, this is one of few. Otherwise QR Studio covers everything it does and a great deal it does not.
Where QR Studio is better
- Design depth. Custom dot and eye shapes, live scannability checks and an AI partner that proposes and refines styles. HHH offers colours, templates and a logo.
- Export. SVG and print-ready PDF with bleed and crop marks. HHH’s listing mentions saving and sharing but no vector or PDF format.
- Dynamic codes and analytics. Edit the destination later and see scans. Not offered.
- Cloud sync. QR Studio codes follow your Apple ID; HHH’s listing describes no sync.
- Tracking. HHH’s privacy label says usage data “may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies”. QR Studio has no ad or tracking SDKs. Our research recorded the free tier as ad-supported; the listing text did not let us re-confirm that today, so read the matrix row with that in mind.
- Maintenance. QR Studio ships updates on a schedule; HHH’s last release was 30 November 2023.
Where QR Scanner & Generator Pro is better
- Apple Vision and Mac. Native builds on both. QR Studio is on iPhone and iPad today.
- Older phones. iOS 14 minimum.
- Barcodes. Scans product barcodes and searches for them online.
- Yearly price. $19.99 against QR Studio Pro’s $29.99.

Switching
All of HHH’s codes are static. Decode each one, paste the payload into QR Studio, restyle if you like and export SVG or PDF for print. There is no account and nothing to cancel other than a Pro subscription in Settings.
