Who each one is for
QRFY is a web generator with a 7-day trial that includes “no restrictions on the creation of both Dynamic and Static QR Code types”, full customisation with frames, colours and logos, custom URL shortening and detailed scan statistics. After the trial there is one plan, sold as a quarterly, six-monthly or yearly contract, and every paid plan offers an unlimited number of QR codes. Its support site says there are no individual arrangements, no partial payments and no single-code purchases.
It suits a business that will use many dynamic codes and pays annually without thinking twice. QR Studio suits someone who wants to start free, pay monthly if at all, or pay once and be done.
Where QR Studio is better
- A free tier without a clock. Unlimited static codes, no trial, no ads. QRFY’s Free Plan exists but dynamic codes need a paid plan once the 7 days are up.
- Billing choice. Monthly, yearly or lifetime. QRFY bills quarterly at the shortest and offers no lifetime option.
- Visible prices. QR Studio’s prices are on this site. QRFY’s page showed none in our fetch; you have to load it in a browser to see them.
- AI design partner. Not offered.
- Print-ready PDF and SVG from a phone. QRFY’s pages we read do not name export formats.
- Offline. QR Studio works without a connection.

Switching
Decode static codes and rebuild them. For dynamic codes, create QR Studio replacements and reprint before your QRFY term ends; there is no month-to-month plan to fall back on, so plan the overlap around the renewal date.
